     My name is Matthew Knight and I’m a God called worship leader and am looking for God’s direction and leadership. I have served the Lord’s churches for almost 13 years During that time, I have lead choirs, bands, praise teams, etc… as I enjoy a blended style of worship. I play a number of instruments, but primarily play the guitar as I use it as a tool of ministry and worship.
     In addition to leading worship, I have had the privilege of serving as a missionary helper to the Southern Philippines for more than 13 years. While on the field, I served as MBSF director in Davao City, Philippines for 2 years and worked in radio production and recording through The Edge Radio of Davao City for 3 years, a division of The United Christian Broadcasters.

I was saved at the age of 9, baptized at 13, called into the ministry at 14 years old, and licensed through Cross Roads in November of 2004. I joined the active duty Air Force on October 3, 2006. Following my technical school training I was sent to Malmstrom AFB, located in Great Falls, MT. I came to find out about Skyline MBC while looking through the ABA directory. Bro. Toby Soileau is the pastor there and I truly feel as though God has put me in Montana for this church in some capacity or another.      I am 50 years old and have been preaching for nearly 25 years. In 1973, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior. After continued dedication as a member of one of His local churches, I surrendered my life to the ministry in 1986.
     In 1988, after preaching at various churches for two years, I decided to attend Louisiana Missionary Baptist institute and Seminary in Minden, Louisiana. I received nearly five years of education at the Seminary before the Lord gave me my first opportunity to pastor a church.      On February 5, 1991, I was ordained into the ministry and was appointed missionary of Punkin Center Missionary Baptist Mission in Castor, Louisiana. I continued there as missionary from 1991-1997.
     After leaving Punkin Center, I was invited to be the interim pastor of Landmark MBC in Stamps, Arkansas. After nearly a year of being interim pastor at Landmark, the Lord led me to preach at various other churches in the tri-state area.
     In 2002, the Lord led me to Meadow Grove MBC in Tallulah, Louisiana. I pastored the church for two years, leaving in 2004.
     Once again, I was invited to be the interim pastor of another chucrh. I accepted the invitation from Shiloh MBC in Springhill, Louisiana in 2006. I continued there for nearly a year before the Lord led me to Vidalia MBC in 2007. I pastored Vidalia MBC in Vidalia, Louisiana for nearly three years, leaving in February 2010.
     Currently, I'm praying and searching for where the Lord wants me next. I love God's people and I love His churches. Soul-winning and preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is my life long obligation. I wouldn't have it any other way.
     If your congregation would feel led to invite me to speak at any of its weekly services, then feel free to contact me. I'd love to meet you and to share God's Word with anyone willing to listen.

     I have been raised in a baptist church. I accepted Christ at the age of 22, on December 12, 2001, at Bethel Baptist Church, in Sevierville, Tennessee. As a Christian, I have had the opportunity to work with youth, work with college age people, and go on three mission trips. I moved from Tennessee to Arkansas in May of 2008, and I married my wife in July of that same year. I have now been married a year and a half, and we have no children as of now. I joined Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in August of 2008, and I surrendered to God's call for me to preach on September 28, 2008. I am currently attending Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, Arkansas, and I am in my first year at the seminary. God has given me many opportunities to preach His word, and I am very thankful to be a preacher for God. I desire an opportunity to pastor one of God's churches, and I would be very thankful for an opportunity to come preach in view of a call.
