MY MISSIONARY REPORT
For March 2022
Greetings from Central New York, where it is Summer today and Winter tomorrow. One day 70, the next day 20 and snowing. Just 3 days ago we had 10“ of snow, and yesterday it was 71. No one puts their winter clothes away till mid June. Crazy weather, but that’s New York.
March brought many blessings our way here at New Horizon Baptist located in Port Byron, just a stone’s throw from the surrounding small villages of Sennett, Montezuma, Elbridge, Throop, Cato, Jordan, Conquest, Savannah, Weedsport, and the city of Auburn. This is our mission field! Look us up on the map to get a clearer picture where we are located. We have several families who faithfully come from these towns.
At he beginning of the month we were invited to see the Sight and Sound production of Joseph. Throughout the month we celebrated several birthdays, both mission and family folks. Mid month we attended a 3 day “Jubilee” of great preaching and singing. Then Mavis, Judah, and I, and another couple from our work left “Dodge” for a 3 day Camp Meeting in the Southern tier of New York, near Jamestown. What a blessing! The last weekend of the month we were blessed to have the Schrock family, missionaries to Romania out of 1st Baptist of Ranson, WV, with us. Our folks were excited to see what God is doing there.
Our Monday night Ladies Quilting is growing, as is our Thursday night Bible study and Prayer. We are in a verse to verse study of Proverbs.
We are all well here at the Mission except for one lady who has the flu; and a few others who have aches and pains of all sort, and of course those who have the winter blues. So I reckon we’re not all that well ):
We had several return visitors we have not seen in 2 months. Praise the Lord for that. And 5 new visitors. Amen. God is very good.
Our door to door visitation restarts the first week of April. I have instructed our visitation team to concentrate on Weedsport and Jordan. Please pray for them. We are ready!
