Leaders Seeking Churches

I surrendered to the ministry in October of 1999, just a little over 22 years ago at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church of El Dorado, Arkansas. I began my seminary studies in January of 2000 at the Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary (LMBIS) in Minden, LA. While I was a student our Lord used me to preach revivals and fill the pulpit in many different churches, in many different states. The Lord sough fit in my third year of studies to give the honor of pastoring one of His churches in Arkansas for two years as I finished my seminary studies. As I graduate, with master’s in theology, I accept the call to pastor a church in Gainesville, Texas. The Lord blessed that ministry for twelve years. After those twelve years I had the honor of serving our Lord as a hospital chaplain in Dallas, Texas for over 8 years. Before the pandemic I had a health scare and had to stop serving as a hospital chaplain. Almost three years after the health issues our Lord and Savior has once again began to open the doors of ministry. I have had the honor of filling the pulpit in many of the Lord’s churches over the past few months. Although I have not closed the door to the idea of pastoring a church, it would have to driving distance of Dallas, Texas as I could not move on the field full-time due to having to have a job that provides health insurance. However, the Lord has blessed me with such a job that will allow me to travel on weekends and fill-in for pastors needing some time to be away from their pulpit for whatever the reason. I am available to come and fill the pulpit anywhere the Lord has a need. The number one comment I hear is that “they hate I traveled so far for what they can pay someone to fill in.” And my answer is always the same, “I don’t do this ministry for the money but for the honor to serve the Lord in some small way.” If you are in need of someone to preach a service please give me a call at 940 – 390 – 3076.
