For February 2022
Greetings in the sweet name of Jesus.
Well, Phil the Groundhog failed us again. When I was a young man my grandmother would have me shoot her a groundhog every now and again for the stew pot. Just sayin’.
Still cold here in New York. Had a bunch of snow here since our last report, right at 2 feet. But Spring is coming. We saw a couple of robins on one of the warm days, but they are gone again.
I hope everyone is well. Mavis and I are fine. Judah is limping though from playing “king of the hill” on the piled up snow.
It was a good February. God has been very good. Our attendance increased as some of the church folk came out of their burrows :) and made their way back. We had 3 visitors.
We can’t wait to get back to our visitation. We have everything ready.
We still have 2 “snow birds” out but they should be here the 1st Sunday in March.
Two of our Missionary Families are home. We had one for a 2 day Missions meeting yesterday and Saturday. It was great. At the end of March we will the other family here for another Missions conference. It’s always a special time for me and the folks here at New Horizon. We love our Missionaries.
Mavis, Judah and I made a quick 2 day trip to Pennsylvania because my laptop went south on me. I nursed it for 3 weeks, but alas it gave up the ghost. I have a friend in PA who is simply a genius with computers. I was fearful I lost most of the data but Mr. M got it back. Whew. PTL.
All the folks at the Mission are doing well and growing in the Lord. It makes this Missionary smile.
