MY MISSIONARY REPORT
For April 2022
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the Only Mediator between God and man. Spring finally came to stay in Central New York about the last week. It was a long winter.
With the warm weather we started our visitation full steam again. Thank God. We had been chomping at the bit to get the Gospel into homes we haven’t reached yet..
With April came, of course, Resurrection Sunday, though we celebrate every Sunday, the first day of the week, as Resurrection Sunday. We had several visitors, but a few out with sickness. In all, we had 4 new visitors in April.
We did not have a lot of activities going, other than the Ladies Quilting class and our regular services; but we did spend some time with minor repairs that winter usually leaves, but nothing major.
We have some folks sick, with the flu, remember that? But most folks are doing well. Please pray for Fred who has a series of operations in May, some very serious. Fred has been with us for 7 years now. He is a great help and blessing.
Mavis had a hiccup the last week of April. She took a tumble and was out of service for 2 weeks. I did the cooking, laundry, cleaning, and everything else she “rang the bell” for. Now I believe that saying, “a woman’s work is never done.” And now I have a sore back from bending over the sink. And Judah didn’t help a bit.
May is now upon us, we have our garden planted. Thank the Lord. And our schedule is quite full already. Please pray for us. Gas is $4.49 a gallon, and diesel is $6.29. Makes it hard for God’s folk to get the Gospel out. I reckon He will have something to say to those responsible for hindering the Gospel.
Please keep us continually in prayer. We appreciate all who hold us up in prayers, and those who support and love this work.
