MY MISSIONARY REPORT
For March 2023
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Hope this day finds you well and enjoying the blessings of God.
March is over. Praise God. It went out with a bang, leaving us with a 13 inch snow storm the day after “Spring.” In the darkness of last hoo-rahs of winter, we took a 5 day visit to our sponsoring church, yes again, in New Hampshire, only to be greeted with a Saturday morning snow of 3 inches, and temperatures in the 20s for the high. I looked on my phone for the weather back home in New York, and it was 60. Oh well. Home now. Yesterday it was 75. Up and down we go.
One of our former members moved back to town and came to visit us and I reckon we will see her this Sunday. God is so good.
So Spring has sprung. The Robins are here in large numbers, as are the other hungry mouths of the Cardinals, Chickadees, doves, Gold Finch, Wrens, Blue Jays, and the beat goes on. I had a little talk with them yesterday as they swarmed our feeders, “Listen, the price of sunflowers seeds have soared, so you birds are going to have to bear the cost as well and start eating other things.” I think they understood.
Mission is doing well as we are putting together our Visitation Program for the new season. Winter was fairly well for nearly all of us, as only a few got sick. We are looking for great things from God as we prepare to go door knocking.
