January 2022
MY MISSIONARY REPORT
For January, 2022
Greetings in Jesus name from the very cold Finger Lakes of New York, just 20 miles south of Lake Ontario. Brrr. It has been a cold January with temperatures below zero many nights and below freezing most of the days. Probably why our attendance has been down. Very little snow though. We are about 36 inches behind.
God has been very good as usual. The folks at New Horizon have been keeping well. New York, as you probably hear on the news, is determined to keep mandating everything that pertains to Covid. Who knows what motive lies behind it all. In spite of their efforts to control, people are enjoying the winter festivities, and resisting those who would kill our spirits and keep us in a depressed state by all the confusion in the government.
In spite of the bitter cold we maintain our visitation, though on a much larger scale. We continue to make visitation packets for when “Phil” sees his shadow and spring is just over the horizon.
This year we had a few “snow birds” go south. But the rest of us are having a good time right here fellow shipping with one another and enjoying the Word of God.
All the Christmas decorations are down and the Valentine ones are going up.
Please keep us in prayer as we meet the challenges of winter. As I type we are expecting a blizzard (not the kind from DQ) of up to 18 inches of snow with freezing raiin coming in first. Shoud be interesting.
New Horizon thanks you all for your prayers and support and love for this work.
Mavis and I are well.
We love you.
