First Baptist Church Bryant, AR, seeking a Music Director
First Baptist Church of Bryant, Arkansas, is searching for a Music Director to lead and oversee all the church's music (adults, teens, and children). FBC has a rich history in worship music and seeks to grow the music program. Currently, the church has a choir and sings a blend of worship music, from newly released contemporary music to traditional hymns. The church has several musical instruments that accompany the singing (piano, organ, guitars, drums, flutes, etc.). Candidates must have the musical and leadership skills to lead, teach, and direct a four-part choir with live instrumentalists and a leadership style that motivates and leads volunteers to participate in the church's music program. Currently, the position is part-time pay, but efforts are being made to make it full-time pay. It is possible that adding some church administrative duties could make the position full-time.
